SIXTH FORM GAME PROJECT
With the computer games industry now generating more money than Hollywood films, schools are just now starting to realise their educational and future employment potential. Our ICT department is hoping to lead the way in this field and have recently trialed a piece of game generating software which develops pupils skills in graphic design, logic and problem solving.
Four sixth form students Chris Dunn, Sean Burrow, Liam Mutch and Chris McGuirk created a set of "Liverpool themed" arcade games that are being entered into the city-wide ICT innovation competion called "It's Your Future".
Chris Dunn scooped the award for 'Liverpool Culture' and walked off with a certificate and Apple i-pod for his efforts.
The awards night is due to featured on Wirral TV soon.
You can take a look now by playing their games! - stored on school R-drive only.
Remember to use your headphones! The games sound fantastic!!!
