A fantastic start to the West Derby ski trip 2008! After a gruelling 29 hour coach journey all of the boys and staff arrived safely at the hotel.

The first evening was spent collecting ski boots and skis and after that fun was had by all in highly competitive quiz, won by the 6th form quiz team. At 11:00PM students went to bed in preparation for an early wake up in the morning ahead.

This morning after a traditional Austrian breakfast both students and staff made for the coach with ski boots in hand. Shortly after arriving at the slopes they were split into groups and went off for their first tentative ski lesson.

An enthralling day was had by all even though many falls took place smiles were never broken.
